In short, although fun, warfare in Civ always seems to boil down to figuring out the AI's gaping flaws and then exploiting them till you rule the world. The AI seems completely incapable of skillfully using units (thus on the higher difficulties they simply get higher rates for gold/science/production/etc rather than improved skill) or of engaging in any wily diplomacy aside from some extremely haphazard and barely disguised backstabbing. The AI, nearly regardless of personality type, is warmongering, aggressive, bipolar and borderline insane. However, the game has also irritated me pretty frequently with its shoddy AI.

One of my favorite aspects/victory types of the game are domination, wherein you take over the world needless to say it gets pretty fun and intense on a real Earth map. I'm a big fan of the Civilization series, and love Civ 5.

Sorta brief question (TL DR at the bottom).
